Fresh Meat: Learn to Play Roller Derby in Vancouver

Learn to Play Roller Derby with TCRD

Terminal City Roller Derby’s eight-week Fresh Meat program consists of eight 2.5-hour classes, and is designed to get skaters ready to play roller derby. Fresh Meat graduates are invited to join TCRD house team practices.

Participants must be able to skate forwards, skate backwards, turn around, and stop—we’ll get you the rest of the way.

Not there yet? Check out Rolla Skate Club for beginner roller skating classes.

The program is open to all female/gender expansive skaters, regardless of past experience with roller derby or athletics.

Skaters must have MSP or other health coverage as well as their own gear (skates, helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, mouth guards).

Need gear? Check out RollerGirl.ca online or just off Main St.
