Roller derby can’t happen without officials!

Non-skating officials (NSOs) keep tabs on the stats of the game, including everything from points to penalties, while referees call players on penalties and keep us safe during game play. 

Officiating derby is a rewarding task, and our fantastic crew of officials—the TCRD Authority Figures—can teach you everything you need to know as a beginner ref or NSO.

TCRD could not exist without the help of its amazing volunteers! It takes a lot of work to put on our events, and the help of volunteers is indispensable in making sure everything runs smoothly. We have a wide variety of positions available, from front of house to beer garden staff, announcers to first aid.
