Our next Learn to Derby will begin in June 2025 at the Royal City Curling Club in New Westminister, from 11:00am - 1:00pm every Sunday
These programs are open to all female/gender expansive skaters.
Terminal City Roller Derby's six-week programs consists of six 2-hour classes, and is designed to equip skaters with the skills they need to play roller derby.
The Learn to Skate is intended for those with no previous skating experience or who need to improve their skating fundamentals.
To get the most out of Learn to Derby program, you should already be comfortable with your basic skating skills like plow stops, crossovers, and transitions.
Skaters must have MSP or other health coverage, and skaters are encouraged to purchase their own gear (skates, helmet, mouthguard, wristguards, elbow pads, and knee pads), however loaner gear is available at an additional cost"

Once you've started your rookie program, rookies are also welcome to attend league practices. An assistant coach will be present if you need some advice!
