Learn to Play Roller Derby in Vancouver

Learn to Play Roller Derby with TCRD

Terminal City Roller Derby's six-week rookie program consists of six 2.5-hour classes, and is designed to equip skaters with the skills they need to play roller derby.

The program is open to all female/gender expansive skaters; to get the most out of Learn to Derby program, you should already be comfortable with your basic skills like plow stops, crossovers, and transitions.

Skaters must have MSP or other health coverage as well as their own gear (quad skates, helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, mouth guards)

Need gear? Check out RollerGirl.ca online or at their brick-and-mortar shop at 185 East 11th Ave. Vancouver!

Once you've started your rookie program, rookies are also welcome to attend league practices.  No rookie coach will be present but league coaches will be present if you need some advice!
